WORKSHOP: TEST DESIGN FOR ABILITIES AND PROFESSIONAL COMPETENCIES ASSESSMENT.

OBJECTIVE:

To identify the elements for evaluating abilities and professional competencies.

To identify the aspects that may be measured using a professional competencies scale.

 ORIENTED TO:

Teachers and coordinators.

SYLLABUS:

  1. Introduction to the ability models. Review of the taxonomy of the affective and psychomotive domains.

  2. Professional competencies evaluation model.

  3. Guttman model applied to professional competencies.

  4. Criterion referred evaluation and definition of the cutting points and competencies levels. 

  5. Homogeneity and normalization of the judges' criteria, a priori and a posteriori methods. Many facets model.

  6. Instruments for abilities and professional competencies evaluation.

  7. Settings of criteria for abilities and professional competencies evaluation.
