TESTS QUALITY DIAGNOSTIC

A support service for the Educational Institutions, objective tests designer entities, evaluation committees and appraisers in general:

Who evaluates the appraiser?

The service of Tests Quality Diagnostic (TQD) offered by the Institute of Assessment and Advanced Engineering (IEIA in Spanish) allows the tests designers to have a external "metaevaluación", supported by the lastest international and national standards, together with the quality specifications of the IEIA and the experience of more than 25 years in evaluation, item calibration, instrument analysis, design of statistical and psychometric models.

What does the evaluator gets from the TQD?

You will receive two main products in a single report:

  1. An objective feedback about the 16 aspects that all test should fulfill, from the design to the delivery of results, including the indispensable standards about validity, objectivity and reliability.

  2. A short and medium term planning so that you can organize, optimize and complete your process of continuous improvement and to maintain your tests in the levels demanded by the quality standards.

How can I get the TQD service?

All you need is to get in contact with the Customers Service Department at the IEIA, ask for the TQD service, sign the order and make a stablishment for the scheduling and conditions.

How is the TQD service carried out?

When you call the IEIA, the person assisting you will request some basic information and will set an appointment for the first visit of the appraisers. In this first visit all available documentation will be reviewed and an explanation of the standards and format will be made. You will fill a self-evaluation questionnaire about your tests and present additional documentation according to the kind of tests that you make. You must send the self-evaluation and the documentation to the IEIA, where a diagnostic will be made as well as the feedback report and the development plan. The responsible for the project from the IEIA will contact you to clarify some points that have not been observed in the questionnaire and, if it is necessary, will set an additional appointment to have an interview with you. Once the feedback report is completed, a second appointment will be held in order to explain the results and to comment the identified acceptable aspects and those that are faulty so as to improve them.

How long it takes for the TQD to be carried out?

Once the first interview is held, you have two weeks to answer the self-evaluation questionnaire and the IEIA takes from two to three weeks to elaborate the feedback report and to set the last interview with you.
