KALT OPINION

KALT® is used to score questionnaires where a "correct answer" to each question exist. When a questionnaire to analyze the organizational climate in a company is implemented, the company is looking to know the opinion of their employees and therefore, no "correct answer" exists. It is habit among the users of surveys just to record the number of cases that each option is selected within a scale from 0 to 5, but a good survey analysis requires something more than just a frequency report. Due to this fact, a specially planned tool is required, capable of providing useful information for the evaluator;This is the main reason for what KALT OPINION® was developed.

KALT OPINION® is the program for scoring and analyzing questionnaires including Likert-like questions, basically related with 5 options that indicate an agreement level (never-always, terrible-excellent), for applications of general purpose: institutional evaluation, assessment of educational quality, organizational climate, analysis of surveys, etc.

KALT OPINION® scores people, categories and it also provides feedback using the analysis of the quality of the instrument.

It allows to include the answers in blocks or groups, being able to evaluate professors, personnel categories in a factory or company, people's groups in population's samples, etc. It has no limit of items or questions.

Besides the specific scoring for each category, it offers a comparisson among all of them so the evaluator will be able to analyse diverse aspects (of the one that scores best to the one that makes it worst), to be able to take preventive or corrective actions, yet opportune and complete.

The analysis of the questionnaire is carried out by mathematical and statistical models that analyze the consent of the answers, it eliminates differing people and it emits a technical verdict of this analysis.

Reports that KALT OPINION® can automatically generate are:

 

Statistical. Histograms, frequencies, means, medians, modes, variance, ranges, skew, measure errors, etc. Includes the graphical display of the histogram the polygon of accumulated frequencies.

Quality analysis of the categories. Graphical report of the blocks or categories sorted in a descending, global or each evaluated feature form.
Analysis of the quality of each question. Graphical report of the results including information about the reliability and the consent obtained in each question. A quality index is emitted ("value of the item") that helps the evaluator to determine the utility of each question.
